At your first visit a consultation will take place to find out what you require, get to know your dog, assess the condition and temperament of your dog. This will also find out if they have any additional requirements that need to be catered for.

A thorough health check of your dog's coat and full body, keep a note of any lumps or bumps on the grooming card. Advise any changes and inform owners.
Brush out of coat to determine what is needed for your individual dog
Tidy of Hygiene Areas.
Paw Pads Cleared.
Ear and Eye Clean.
Nails trimmed where the dogs temperament allows.
Break (inside or outside - weather dependant)
Bath with two deep cleaning shampoos. (Medicated/Normal)
Conditioner to hydrate and replenish your dog's coat.

Puppy Introductions

From £52 For both sessions

At 4 Paws puppies are very welcome after all their vaccinations and are allowed out and up to the age of 6 months. We have a puppy, play, pamper and familiarisation. At 4 Paws we want your puppy to be happy and relaxed therefore it will be a case of what we can achieve which may be opposed to what you actually want. As puppies, early experiences and memories will affect them for their whole lives and will affect how they react to future grooming appointments.

This will only change if it affects the welfare of your puppy.

1st Session.

Brush Familiarisation and Play.
Puppy bath and play with toys (to get them used to the water).
Break and Play.
Gentle and Cool blow dry.
Getting used to the sounds of clippers/dryers and the grooming environment.

2nd Session.

Brush Familiarisation and Play.
Puppy bath and play with toys.
Break and Play.
Gentle and Cool blow dry.
Getting used to the sounds of clippers/dryers and the grooming environment. Scissoring and clipping if necessary.
